OUR STORY

DIO Architecture (DIOA) is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Our creative team brings together decades of global experience in architecture, water park, tourist attraction and entertainment design.
We know that every client and project is unique in its business objectives, project requirements, and budgets and that is where our process begins. Our international experience and our team's diverse background make us insightful and respectful of various cultures and customs around the globe. We seek to work collaboratively as partners from the concept stage right through until completion and to support every step of the way. We are here to turn your vision into a design that, once built, will provide stand-out, immersive experiences and lasting memories for your guests and have them coming back time and again.

OUR LEADERSHIP
DIO HO Architect AIBC, LEED® AP, M.Arch
Dio is a Canadian architect and a LEED Accredited Professional with over 25 years of design experience. His career as an architectural designer began in 1999 and after receiving his professional license, he spent the following seven years as a project architect in Vancouver, specializing in commercial and residential design. In 2010 Dio joined WhiteWater, one of the world’s largest supplier to the water park and attractions industry, serving as the Director of Design, in charge of all company’s design projects and overseeing a team of designers and planners.

During his tenure at WhiteWater, Dio managed numerous major water park design projects for international companies such as The Walt Disney Company, LEGOLAND, Wet ‘N’ Wild, Great Wolf Lodge, Ocean World, and Center Parcs. His portfolio in China includes eminent water parks developed by Chimelong, Hot Go, Yinji, Overseas Chinese Town (OCT) and Wanda.

In January of 2019, Dio founded DIO Architecture, concentrating on entertainment design. Based in Vancouver Canada, DIOA provides park and architectural design services globally for Concept Design, Schematic Design, and Design Development phases.
